Alex had been tested in Year 4 for dyslexia and he came out mildly dyslexic for spelling. He has a poor short term memory, and we were concerned about him going to Senior School with these problems.
Alex started off a bit ‘anti’, but now he agrees that his writing is better and the improvement has been commented on by teachers. We are so pleased he is getting professional help, and are especially pleased that he now see the benefit and is self-motivated.
He now is now asking for help with his Maths too!

Jonathan Mitchell is the Centre Manager in our brand new Liphook Centre.
Jonathan is excited to be joining I Love to Learn Liphook as Centre Manager. Having worked as a Mathematics teacher for the past five years, he is passionate about helping children develop both skills and confidence in their learning. He enjoys building positive relationships with students and parents and creating an encouraging environment where every child can thrive. Outside education, Jonathan loves sport, particularly cricket, and values the teamwork, dedication and resilience it teaches.

With 11 plus exams on the horizon we are aware this is a concern for lots of parents around Liphook. We have developed an 11 Plus and Entrance Exam offering that is tailored to suit the schools in your local area. We want every child to reach their potential and do their very best in school, and our tuition is the best possible support on your child’s journey into grammar school.
We give every child a free assessment to gauge their level of ability. After that we will plan a unique programme to challenge and stretch them. Eleven plus students need to produce interesting and creative English written work with good grammar and vocabulary. The maths required is also of a higher than average standard, and needs to show mastery. With our many years of experience we can advise you on how we can best help your child reach this standard.
