child tuition fareham

I Love to Learn Fareham provides maths and English tuition by fully qualified and experienced teachers. Linked to the new National Curriculum, all work is tailored to each child’s individual strengths and areas for development, allowing our expert tutors to support and stretch them.

But this is not just maths and English. We also tutor children to love learning, improve their concentration and help them become independent learners. Our vision is to ‘Tutor children to learn and love the journey.’ We do this through employing fully qualified tutors only and training them in our unique system. In addition, our reward scheme enables children to see their progress each session and motivates them for the next.

All Our Tutors Are Qualified Teachers

At our Fareham tuition centre our tutors are not just enthusiastic graduates!  All our tutors have a teaching qualification and years of classroom experience.  We guarantee that your child will be tutored by skilled and dedicated tutors, not by the computer!  We are committed to providing our members with the safest environment for children to learn in so all staff have DBS (child protection) checks.

Free Assessment

We give every child a free assessment to gauge their level of ability.  After that we will plan a unique programme to challenge and stretch them.  Eleven plus students need to produce interesting and creative English written work with good grammar and vocabulary.  The maths required is also of a higher than average standard, and needs to show mastery.  With our many years of experience we can advise you on how we can best help your child reach this standard.

Beyond The Exam

We don’t believe in simply ‘teaching to a test’ – after all, the test is the very beginning of your child’s journey into their secondary career. To support your child in the run up to, during and once they have made the transition to secondary education, we can continue to support them with the new challenges they face.

What Do Our Parents Say?

“My daughter Amy travelled from Gosport to the I Love To Learn tutition in Portsmouth as I believed she would benefit better in that setting rather than hiring a personal tutor. Amy was struggling with maths in primary school and I wanted to prepare her better for senior school. She quickly started to improve and was much happier at school with her new confidence. She went back the year of her GCSEs for extra tuition which helped a lot. A centre in Fareham will be excellent for students in this area. Thank you for all the help Amy received.”  Dee World (parent)

“I am delighted that ‘I Love to Learn’ is coming to Fareham. For us, this means access to first class tuition and support for our daughter is even closer to home. We have been using I Love to Learn for 12 months now to help our daughter who was struggling with maths and English and had fallen behind in her school class. In this short time, not only has her knowledge increased, so has her confidence and general happiness. The team at I Love to Learn have done an amazing job and made it fun along the way.”  Jon Ozanne (parent)

What parents say...

“Thanks for all your hard work with Rebecca Kivlin. She has started Milton Cross this week. Rebecca is in the top set for maths and science, and the second group for everything else. Without coming to Love to Learn she would never have achieved this.  Thanks”
Julie Powell
We were super happy with your approach and B settled in so well. She looked forward to the tutoring and got a lot out of the sessions. Without a doubt her confidence has grown and I wouldn’t hesitate to use I Love to Learn again in the future. Many thanks, Cat
We are Super Happy!
We brought him to the centre in Year 6 because he just had no idea about maths.  This year won the ‘Most Improved in Maths’ certificate for his year.  He also came top of his class in 2 out of 3 maths exams.  Coming to here is the best thing we ever did!
Mr S White
Dylan had always struggled with very poor handwriting.  After only a few months teachers can now read his writing and he feels more confident.  His coordination problems have been recognised “Thanks to your suggestion,” and this has helped at school.   It has made a big difference to his schooling as he enjoys it much more now.

Maths is fun

“The GCSE Maths Tutors Are Great.”

T’anna came to us as her mum had seen us on Facebook and decided to call.  T’anna, now in year 10, had always struggled with her maths.   In four short months however, she has improved so much that, the school want to put her up for the Higher GCSE paper!!  Kerry, T’anna’s mum says ” She has come on leaps and bounds, I am so pleased with the progress. The tutors are great! It’s a convenient location and the assessment is easy to arrange.”

Thank you so much for helping me with my maths!  I have come along much more in maths lessons at school! Hopefully, depending on whether I need help when I go to Secondary School I might come back again. (I hope so)  Thank you again. Madison.
Mrs H Breen
Firstly, I would like to thank yourselves and your staff for all your help and dedication to helping my daughter Saoirse with her maths.  She has shown an improvement with her confidence at attempting to handle the mathematics she is give by her school.  And I feel this is due to the staff at your centre, she had a very rough year in Year 4, with her very unsympathetic teacher and you all helped her through that.  For that I’m very grateful.
Mrs R Wall
I would like to thank you for the enthusiastic way in which you have helped Vicky gain confidence in her abilities to learn.  She has been a different child since coming to you and has a more positive view now!

Alex had been tested in Year 4 for dyslexia and he came out mildly dyslexic for spelling.  He has a poor short term memory, and we were concerned about him going to Senior School with these problems. Alex started off a bit ‘anti’, but now he agrees that his writing is better and the improvement has been commented on by teachers.  We are so pleased he is getting professional help, and are especially pleased that he now see the benefit and is self-motivated. He now is now asking for help with his Maths too!
Mrs D Wilson
I would like to thank you for everything that you have done, and also pass on my gratitude from Lottie because she has learnt she has really benefited from and her confidence in maths has vastly improve, so much so that she now tells me that she looks forward to maths class at school!
