We were super happy with your approach and B settled in so well. She looked forward to the tutoring and got a lot out of the sessions. Without a doubt her confidence has grown and I wouldn’t hesitate to use I Love to Learn again in the future.
Many thanks,
Cat
We are Super Happy!
We brought him to the centre in Year 6 because he just had no idea about maths. This year won the ‘Most Improved in Maths’ certificate for his year. He also came top of his class in 2 out of 3 maths exams. Coming to here is the best thing we ever did!
Mr S White
We are so pleased that Mahera has got a FULL BURSARY for the local girl’s high school in Portsmouth. She has been to your centre before for tuition but we came back in November so she could get ready for the exams. She has worked so hard and Linda has really encouraged her in her writing! Thanks so much!
Mahera's Mum
“We had planned to stop the tutoring after the 11+ exam, but with the next lockdown and more disruption to her education, we quickly relented when she literally begged us to continue going! The sessions are adjusted to her needs and she describes them as ‘really fun’ and she likes it that the work is specific to her level and much more individualised than the class work at school.”
Penny Meeking
Thank you so much for helping me with my maths! I have come along much more in maths lessons at school! Hopefully, depending on whether I need help when I go to Secondary School I might come back again. (I hope so) Thank you again. Madison.

“The GCSE Maths Tutors Are Great.”
T’anna came to us as her mum had seen us on Facebook and decided to call. T’anna, now in year 10, had always struggled with her maths. In four short months however, she has improved so much that, the school want to put her up for the Higher GCSE paper!! Kerry, T’anna’s mum says ” She has come on leaps and bounds, I am so pleased with the progress. The tutors are great! It’s a convenient location and the assessment is easy to arrange.”

I would like to thank you for everything that you have done, and also pass on my gratitude from Lottie because she has learnt she has really benefited from and her confidence in maths has vastly improve, so much so that she now tells me that she looks forward to maths class at school!
Charlotte's parents
Firstly, I would like to thank yourselves and your staff for all your help and dedication to helping my daughter Saoirse with her maths. She has shown an improvement with her confidence at attempting to handle the mathematics she is give by her school. And I feel this is due to the staff at your centre, she had a very rough year in Year 4, with her very unsympathetic teacher and you all helped her through that. For that I’m very grateful.
Mrs R Wall
Alex says ” I learned more in three months than my whole time in the maths classroom at school. I went from dreading it to feeling much better about being there.”
This Summer he was overjoyed to find that he had gone from a Grade 2 in his mocks up to a Grade 4 (C) pass in his final exam.
Alex
Albie had been diagnosed with mild dyslexia and his reading age was around 2 years behind! The standard in private school is often higher, so we were worried about the Entrance Exams. Soon after he enrolled he started making rapid progress. The school say he is now Level 5 in literacy and the teacher can see a lot of difference. His reading age has shot up and the gaps in maths have been filled in and he has caught up amazingly quickly.
It has definitely, definitely made a difference and I have recommended the centre to my friends.

Inspiring maths and English tuition tailored to your child’s individual needs

11 Plus And Entrance Exams
We have developed an 11 Plus and Entrance Exam offering that is tailored to suit the schools in your local area. We want every child to reach their potential and do their very best in school, and our tuition is the best possible support on your child’s journey into grammar school.
Our specialist course can help your child prepare for entrance to the following local schools:
We give every child a free assessment to gauge their level of ability. After that we will plan a unique programme to challenge and stretch them. Eleven plus students need to produce interesting and creative English written work with good grammar and vocabulary. The maths required is also of a higher than average standard, and needs to show mastery. With our many years of experience we can advise you on how we can best help your child reach this standard.
We don’t believe in simply ‘teaching to a test’ – after all, the test is the very beginning of your child’s journey into their secondary career. To support your child in the run up to, during and once they have made the transition to secondary education, we can continue to support them with the new challenges they face.
What Do Our Parents Say?
“My daughter Amy travelled from Gosport to the I Love To Learn tuition in Portsmouth as I believed she would benefit better in that setting rather than hiring a personal tutor. Amy was struggling with maths in primary school and I wanted to prepare her better for senior school. She quickly started to improve and was much happier at school with her new confidence. She went back the year of her GCSEs for extra tuition which helped a lot. A centre in Fareham will be excellent for students in this area. Thank you for all the help Amy received.” Dee World (parent)
“I am delighted that ‘I Love to Learn’ is coming to Fareham. For us, this means access to first class tuition and support for our daughter is even closer to home. We have been using I Love to Learn for 12 months now to help our daughter who was struggling with maths and English and had fallen behind in her school class. In this short time, not only has her knowledge increased, so has her confidence and general happiness. The team at I Love to Learn have done an amazing job and made it fun along the way.” Jon Ozanne (parent)
