I Love to Learn Havant provides maths and English tuition by fully qualified and experienced teachers. Linked to the new National Curriculum, all work is tailored to each child’s individual strengths and areas for development, allowing our expert tutors to support and stretch them.
But this is not just maths and English. We also tutor children to love learning, improve their concentration and help them become independent learners. Our vision is to ‘Tutor children to learn and love the journey.’ We do this through employing fully qualified tutors only and training them in our unique system. In addition, our reward scheme enables children to see their progress each session and motivates them for the next.
Twenty years tuition experience, now working in Havant.

At our Havant tuition centre our tutors are not just enthusiastic graduates! All our tutors have a teaching qualification and years of classroom experience. We guarantee that your child will be tutored by skilled and dedicated tutors, not by the computer! We are committed to providing our members with the safest environment for children to learn in so all staff have DBS (child protection) checks.
Therefore our staff are well trained in our methods and professionally qualified to tutor children of all abilities that come to I Love to Learn.
We are member of the TTA which helps us keep our standards high e.g. we can carry out DBS checking of staff through them.
Just off the A27 Havant roundabout, we are located in the ‘Arena Business Centre’. Coming from the A27 turn first left and then left again into the carpark with the barrier. You can press the ‘I Love to Learn’ button or buzz reception to get the barrier raised if you do not have a code. Go to the main entrance, turn left past the reception and we are right there.
We have developed an 11 Plus and Entrance Exam offering that is tailored to suit the schools in your local area. We want every child to reach their potential and do their very best in school, and our tuition is the best possible support on your child’s journey into grammar school.
Our specialist course can help your child prepare for entrance to the following local schools:

We give every child a free assessment to gauge their level of ability. After that we will plan a unique programme to challenge and stretch them. Eleven plus students need to produce interesting and creative English written work with good grammar and vocabulary. The maths required is also of a higher than average standard, and needs to show mastery. With our many years of experience we can advise you on how we can best help your child reach this standard.
We don’t believe in simply ‘teaching to a test’ – after all, the test is the very beginning of your child’s journey into their secondary career. To support your child in the run up to, during and once they have made the transition to secondary education, we can continue to support them with the new challenges they face.
“My daughter started attending I Love to Learn at the beginning of the summer, she had fallen behind due to the lockdown and had lost her confidence in her maths work and also finding it embarrassing at school when having to read out her scores. I am absolutely amazed by how quickly she had caught up and how her confidence had started coming back, she wasn’t dreading school anymore, she would willingly be getting on and doing her I Love to Learn homework way in advance for the next session, and she was also excited to go back the following week. I just want to say thank you as in the short amount of time she was there she has improved massively with her maths. Everyone there showed such patience and helped her so much. As we moved house I had to stop and my daughter really misses it. Now they are in Havant we can start again.” Kayleigh Nutbeam (parent)
Boosting your career with I Love to Learn is a great way to teach without all the paperwork of school. There are many ways that you will be able to gain new skills, master expertise and shape the future of the company with your insight and drive.
All our staff are passionate, enthusiastic with a teaching qualification and classroom experience.
