Summary
A part-time administrator is required to help support the thriving I Love to Learn Professional Tuition after-school tuition centres; in Havant, Fareham and Portsmouth. Hours are flexible during daytime or early evening.
Communication
- Internal-e.g. emails and calls to customers
Missed sessions and catch up sessions
- External-e.g. letter and emails to schools
Finance
- Recording payments-non-automatic
- Following up late payments
- Updating financial records
Data Management
- Keeping Calendar and database up to date
- Updating management data
Qualifications and Education Requirements
DBS cleared
Customer service skills
Ability to work independently

Salary and Hours
Hours to be negotiated, but minimum of 6 hours a week initially
£10.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Tutor Role and Responsibilities
Excellent Tutors Wanted
We are looking for excellent and enthusiastic tutors to teach part time after school and/or Saturday mornings. Join our team and make full use of your time after-school or on Saturday mornings. We find the students, sort out payment and give you a great place to work with minimum hassle. All you have to do concentrate on the teaching!
You would be tutoring children 6-16 in maths and English in either one of our dedicated, OFSTED registered, education centres. They are located in Havant, Portsmouth and Fareham.

Remuneration:
Pay is based on the number of students taught in a session or sessions. The more students you teach, the more you will get paid. This can be up to £37.50 per hour.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Lead & Develop a successful tuition centre (including some teaching).
Manage & Support a team of professional tutors.
Oversee Financials – Including budgeting and profit management.
Build Relationships with parents, students, and schools.
Promote & Market the centre to expand student enrolment.
Support Alternative Provision – Work with schools and students needing extra help outside mainstream education.
Investment & Financial Model
To ensure commitment and long-term success, Centre Directors make a small investment (e.g., £5,000), which is fully reinvested into their centre’s setup (venue, resources, marketing, etc.).
This is NOT a franchise – No large fees, and we provide all the tools and support you need to succeed. Flexible funding options available.
Earning Potential: £26,172 – £62,194+ per year (profit-share model + bonuses).

New Tuition Centre Opening Party Sat 10th Feb
Come and celebrate the opening of our new tuition centre. We are giving away cake, I Love to Learn T-shirts and balloons. Have a look around, play some educational games and chat to the tutors!
Please feel free to drop in and find out more, even if you are not thinking about getting help at the moment. It is a free event so all are welcome. Whether it is for now or the future, for reading, writing, spelling or maths; we are happy to talk. Your child might be getting closer to SATs, GCSEs, or you may be considering 11 plus/common entrance exams. We are here to help all children from 6-16 and all abilities.

The latest addition to after-school education in Fareham is now open with the I Love to Learn Professional Tuition Centre now officially in operation. We have already got lots of students studying with us and are open on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Meet the Centre Director: Howard Jones
Howard is the Centre Director. He is a secondary teacher with over 13 years experience and has now tutored 6 to 16 year olds for 13 years. He loves to teach all topics but especially secondary Maths. He is passionate about education and love seeing children reach their full potential. He enjoys politics, running and reading but not at the same time! He is married to Linda and they have two fantastic children.

Loving to Learn: Activities and tasks that your child Can Do!
After the assessment we use their results to create an individual plan for your child. It will focus on any areas of weakness and allow us to set work at the right level. We will give your child work that they can do so their confidence and feeling of success returns. We will ensure that in each lesson they will discover success and also find a challenge. Homework is set to practice and repeat their learning- this helps them to retain it!

Louisa is an experienced teacher with a career spanning over twenty two years. She loves to teach and likes to inspire her students to achieve their personal best. She has a really fun and friendly attitude.She currently works part time in a local Primary School and enjoys finding ways to help motivate and develop the children in her care.
She loves art and the creative areas of the curriculum. Louisa is also one of our First Aiders.

He is passionate about education and seeing children reach their full potential. He enjoys politics, running and reading; but not at the same time! He is married to Linda and they have two fantastic children.
Linda Jones:
is the Co-Director with Howard. She has a huge amount of primary experience, having been a Literacy Coordinator in West Sussex, and Literacy Development teacher here in Portsmouth. Linda is now dedicated to perfecting students’ skills through tutoring. She finds working with children energising! She also enjoys cooking and playing Boggle.

We are tuition experts covering Portsmouth, Fareham & Havant and we only employ fully qualified teaching staff. Since 2005 we have successfully tutored hundred of children and improved their skills. We can do this as we have the best and most well resourced tuition system, and we employ the best tutors.
Tutors Wanted
At I Love to Learn Professional Tuition we help children from 6-16 in reading, writing, spelling and maths.
All resources are provided so you do not necessarily have to be an English or maths specialist. We know that great teachers can learn new things so we are happy to train you with the new material.

You can do one or more sessions a week to suit your availability and pay is up to £33 p/h.
